This famous chai's history is believed to be steeped in its arab origins. Arab traders brought this along with them to the southern coast of malabar and it spread through the country from there. This ambrosial tea is made without any milk and served with a slice of lemon. A sprinkling of clove and cardamom lend aroma and flavour to this golden hued drink. Sulaimani chai is a southern favourite, specially in the state of kerela. We have strived to re create some of its wonders.
